So the much anticipated Quiapo/Ongpin trip came to be and I had so much fun!  The boyfriend was awesome enough to accompany me despite a ranging headache with only one condition, that we do not bring anything except our mobile phones and in my case, my inhaler, for fear of being mugged, pickpocketed or stuff. It was the first time I went out without bringing my ATM card! I was positively hyperventilating from the mere thought of being away from my monies, hahahah!

We braved the infamous Quiapo crowd, heading to this awesome beads and craft shop to get materials I need to revive an old hobby.

After burning serious amount of cash on that particular store, all roads lead to China town. We rode this queer, pedecab/trike hybrid to dine at Wai Ying resto at the heart of China town. The boyf told me this is one of the best, if not the best, Chinese resto in Ongpin.

Well, I didn’t think the day would come when I’s be excited about going to Quiapo/Ongpin but I was totally giddy over it and now, I can’t wait to shop a ton again! I had such a fabulous time that I can’t wait to go back for a food trip!
