I haven’t been to Japan since having kids. So imagine my surprise when I was granted multiple entry to Japan last week. We were asked by the agency to give it a try and you know, can’t hurt. We were elated because we have plans to go back after this upcoming trip and now, we don’t need to go through the paperwork for the next five years.
Just FYI: We were supposed to do a Tokyo-Osaka trip but decided against Osaka because it will be too tiring to pull it off. We decided to just go back for Osaka in 2025.
BTW, getting all the paperwork done and preparing for the trip took a lot of juggling but heh, we managed as you can see.
After securing the visa, I’m in the thick of an anxiety-induced shopping spree mostly because I gave all my fall and winter wear away, post-partum.
Why? Somehow I thought I’d never use them again. I mean, having kids, living in the tropics. The same goes for my luggage, gave them to my brother and now I had to buy one again and luggage was *expensive*

It’s a good thing though because my husband needs one as well so we got a his and hers luggage. Mine’s rose gold and his is black. I’m seriously thinking about getting the carry-on version of the rose gold. Should I get it?
Currently, I have/still shopping for fall essentials like pullovers, knits, etc. It’s been a pain starting from scratch so lesson learned.
Also, I found my old Suica card. I screamed like a banshee when I found it cuz I heard the production for both Suica and PassMo was suspended in Tokyo because of a ongoing chip shortage. I read that validity for these cards is 10 years so I can still use it but I’d have to check with a Suica rep once we arrive in Tokyo.

I’ve started collecting some fall season clothes, most I got were jackets from Uniqlo and pullovers from Shein. I might check out some stores this weekend in the city and hopefully score great deals.
