Author’s note: This was written in 2018 (!) but the tip is still *chef’s kiss*

The tip that I’m about to give you will change your life. Are you ready?

If you’ve been too lazy to care for your skin just like I am, try dispensing all the liquids in a spritz bottle and just spray, spray, SPRAY!

Guys, this routine is a game-changer for me. And I didn’t consult any magazine or read this hack anywhere (tho I’m pretty sure someone already figured this out)

You see, I stopped using any kind of skincare except a facial wash, before and after my second pregnancy. I don’t know, I suppose I wasn’t feeling like myself anymore and this translated to completely neglecting my skin. Also, I was slow to have my skin tags removed so that’s another thing.

I finally got around applying things on my face again, like, 7 months after my second son was born. It was that long! But I didn’t end up using the same set of skincare products for my skin. I didn’t want to use my hands to spread the product all over my face so I looked for skincare products that come in a spray form

Because the products are in a spray form, I could simply spritz them all over my face in layers and then pass out in bed. Here are the products that are currently in my rotated:

DR. Ci Labo Labo Super-Keana Lotion: still a wonder product, reviewed it here.

COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner: this is the heart and soul of my new skincare routine. It just makes my skin so bright, smooth, soft, and glowy with zero effort.

Laneige Skin Cream Mist: it’s a fabulous skin moisturizer in a spray form. I do feel that it’s hydrating. It can be a little sticky when you’ve applied too much but I don’t mind it because I mainly use this at night.

D’Alba White Truffle First Spray Serum: I bought this while I was hunting down for moisturizers in a spray form. I bought this together with the Laneige skin cream mist. It’s formulated with white truffle and avocado with a light herbal scent. The solution has an oily layer, which is the serum, and essence layer. You gotta shake the bottle to incorporate the layers together and spritz to your heart’s content.

I’ll be honest, I’m unsure if it even works but it’s a nice finishing product to my nightly routine although I wish the scent isn’t too cloying for my sensitive nose.

So far, my skin looks and feels so clear and smooth, especially in the mornings. These products layer so well. In terms of application, I spritz each product generously and wait before layering it with another product. That’s important.

I’m still searching for good face moisturizers that you can spritz all over, I’m totally addicted to the Laneige skin cream!
