… and the studio was completed in record time too!
Okay, it was a team effort.
Myself, husband, and our fitness coach worked together to build Round 12 Fitness Gym. From the planning to renovations and the actual machine assembly, everything took about 3 weeks.
We’ve been busy.

Our fitness coach was part of the equipment curation – our only requirement was to choose high-quality machines that won’t make customers feel “bitin” despite the limited floor space.
He was also tasked to plan the layout so all machines are organized according to the part of the body they engage. This way, customers won’t have to walk too far to tone a specific muscle group.

The hubs was tasked to work with the laborers and suppliers during renovations and for the merch. He’ll also be the face of the gym because he’s the one managing it.
I worked in the background because I dislike talking to people, lol. Apart from investing, I was working on the branding, visuals and PR.
All details related to the gym design, online and offline layout, branding, and marketing are approved by yours truly. I’ve also made it my mission to grow our online presence, just like how I grew our gem biz from scratch.
Being a writer, content creator, artist, and having an extremely ~ exacting~ personality really helped us in this project, especially the branding.
We’ve been officially fully operational last July 1st but before that, we were on a soft opening for a good two weeks to smooth out any kinks. This really paid off because we were able to mitigate some issues with the equipment, like fixing some creaky machines, ordering more plates and lighter dumbbells, etc.
There you have it, another one of my projects has been completed. I had SO much fun putting together this little studio. I’ve handed the hubs the keys to everything and hoping my investments will pay for themselves someday lol
