Okay, technically, these were purchased by the hubs for my birthday.
A month before my birthday, the husband has been reminding me to tell him what I want as a gift (this is a tradition of ours, he knows I do not like surprises). These three were in my cart for a long time.
When I told him I want perfume, he basically bought all the ones that were in my card at, you guessed it, FragranceX!
This girl is so lucky!
Narciso Rodriguez Musc Nude

This is my favorite from the batch. It’s floral, musky, creamy, and oh so comforting! I use this as one of my everyday perfumes. Strangely, the opening smells like cola or a fizzy drink to my nose! It then settles into this milky floral musk that I love so much. The scent is fresh and clean – perfect for that clean girl aesthetic.
I like wearing this when I’m going out with the family because it’s just a super feel-good, inoffensive, milky fragrance. This is similar to the Narciso Rodriguez Musc Noir Rose, which is another fragrance I’ll be reviewing on the third part of this series.
Mon Guerlain

Of all the perfumes I wore, this is the only one that got an actual compliment from the hubs. He said I smell “like a rich aunt,” and that I should wear it when I’m out with my friends because it smells so expensive.
I agree!
Oh, this is such a classic. I don’t overspray because the lavender can be quite intense on this one but it’s a fabulously complex, very unique fragrance. It’s best worn on date nights or when, yeah, out with the girlfriends. I pair it with my nicest bag and outfit because it just gives that richie bitch vibe, you know?
Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDP

If I have a perfume in my collection that I get a twinge of regret getting, it’s this one. Not because I don’t like the fragrance because I do, but I did a last-minute change from Musc Noir Rose to this, For Her EDP before checking out.
Since I already got the Musc Nude and would like some variety. But a few weeks after this purchase, I sampled the Rose Noir version, which has a deeper, rosier scent and I became obsessed! I regret making that last minute switch!
Not to say, this wasn’t good, it is fabulous. But alas, I couldn’t get the Musc Nude Noir Rose out of my head.
Also, I can’t smell all the notes I like in the EDP.
For some inexplicable reason, I can only smell a faint floral scent a few seconds from the opening and then, it’s all patchouli. Sure, it’s warm and spicy, a little woody but the fruitiness or amber, musky, floral notes – these are all lost on my nose.
It’s maddening that I cannot smell the full bodied version of the scent because one time, I sprayed this on, went to the bathroom, got out for a minute, went back in and there lingers this beautifully floral, fruity almost strawberry-peachy-like scent.
I just know that the transition from one room to the toilet somehow cleared my sinuses and I smelled its true scent for the first time.
I’ve been chasing this high ever since.
If I can only smell all the notes, I feel that this will be an easy reach for me. I like it, I don’t love it. I wear this on a semi-regular basis because it’s a huge bottle and I don’t want to give it away.
